Description

The rapid shift from email and file shares to online collaboration through Microsoft 365, OneDrive, and Teams has greatly increased content creators' productivity. New work habits for content creation and sharing have brought new governance challenges with the proliferation of documents across the organization. These new capabilities are often provided with no business context or controls to users whose jobs may not prioritize governance or compliance. In this session, we'll explore ways of overcoming governance hurdles in the collaborative work environment and how organizations can provide oversight and compliance without hampering productivity

AUDIENCE: Information governance practitioners grappling with issues related to new collaboration platforms and the problems they create, especially Microsoft Teams.

TAKE AWAYS: An understanding of a few of the key governance challenges that online collaboration and remote work create, some of the fundamental of governance that need to be applied, and a set of practices and technologies that may help the organization more efficiently solve their information governance issues without losing the benefits of online collaboration.
