Description

Data privacy reform is accelerating at an unprecedented rate as the world recognizes current privacy rights and protections are falling woefully short in our new digital-first world. In this session, we will
examine the key change drivers and how the potential passage of the proposed Digital Charter Implementation Act (Bill C-11), or similar privacy reform, could impact current privacy program
operationalization in Canada. We will then share some of the key activities many organizations are taking to adopt a privacy-first culture and why an information governance framework is needed to
deliver a winning strategy to meet both existing obligations and to be prepared for new requirements as they arise.
