While the records management profession has seen substantial innovation and change over the past decades this hasn’t always worked its way down to organizational implementation. This talk will discuss the historic challenges of records management (specifically around storage of information), the expansion to programs that manage all forms of information, and the business case for innovation in implementation. From this talk you should be in a better position to identify some of the challenges that you may have, perceive a better future, and be able to bring forward options to your business for improvement. This talk is targeted to those who are struggling to get approval for formal RM programs or software implementations or are just starting out within the industry.
