Date & Time

Description

Information Management professionals need to work closely with privacy professionals, especially when it comes to the disposal of personal information. Privacy promotes the disposal of information as soon as the purpose for why it was collected has been met, whereas Information Management promotes the retention of information to meet legal and regulatory requirements, as well as business needs. Without good retention practices, information may be deleted before its legal or regulatory requirements have been met. During this session, information management professionals will gain insights into how Privacy and Information Management can work together to get the best of both worlds.
