Carys Billinghurst was a social worker in child protection and long term care and became a Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act Coordinator and the Health Information Act Coordinator. She has over a decade of experience in privacy. She has certificates in Project Management and Records and Information Management. She currently works in records and information management supporting clients with needs assessments, digitization projects, and supporting client requests. Carys is a strong advocate of the need for an interdisciplinary approach when developing new initiatives and for IM to be at the table
