It all began some 57 years ago in a little village in the Cotwolds of England……Dan Davies is currently the Corporate Records Specialist at the Saskatchewan Health Authority. He came to the SHA organization, after 14 years as an Information Management Archivist at the Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan. His role is primarily focused on leading the establishment of records and information management standards, tools, and techniques for the new entity, an amalgamation of twelve former health regions. As such, the role requires a significant amount of consultation and advisory responsibilities. For that reason he seeks out opportunities to interact with practitioners and stakeholders in similar sectors in order to share challenges and seek out solutions. He currently sits on the ARMA Sask Chapter as President and is an advisory member of PSICC. Dan holds a BA in History from the University of Winnipeg and a MA in Archival Studies from the University of Manitoba.
