Melissa Dane (she/kwe) is an Anishinaabe-kwe who grew up off-reserve in Northern Ontario. She currently resides on the unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabeg in Ottawa, Ontario. Melissa is a Research Officer at the First Nations Information Governance Centre where she is a member of the OCAP® and Information Governance Unit. Melissa is passionate about intersectional policy and decolonization, perspectives which help inform her work.
