Like most of our community, Library and Archives Canada staff have been working from home. We’ve missed you – and want to reconnect!
Our session will provide an update on some of the activities of the Recordkeeping Strategies section at LAC since 2020. Since the start of the pandemic, we have had many questions from information management specialists in the Government of Canada as the civil service pivoted to a remote work environment. In recent months, we have been compiling these requests by subject and theme in an effort to better understand trending topics in GC IM during this time.
We will also give some recordkeeping perspectives on the new federal Policy on Service and Digital (one tool to rule them all?) and related policies and guidelines.
This is a session for anyone interested in GC recordkeeping. No prior knowledge is required – and we are happy to receive feedback about our community’s needs!
